Dog Training and Care Technician

The course provides practical training in dog handling, care and management, developing skills relevant to working in dog sitting, dog walking and pet care services.

The training programme explores canine physiology and behaviour, hygiene, veterinary first aid and the recognition of signs of illness or distress. Participants will also learn about human-animal communication, learning methods and the main techniques used in dog training, socialisation and behaviour management.

Through theoretical lessons and practical activities, participants will acquire operational skills that can be immediately applied in services dedicated to the care and well-being of companion animals.
 

How to attend

 
All courses are held in person and are free of charge, financed under the GOL Programme (guaranteed worker employability).
Participants attending at least 70% of scheduled hours will also receive a participation bonus paid directly by INPS.
